Ronda Rousey's UFC bantamweight title defence against Holly Holm has been moved into the main event of UFC 193, president Dana White announced on ESPN on Friday.

The battle between the undefeated champion and challenger was originally expected to headline UFC 195 on January 2nd, but instead will now take place on November 14th at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.

"Obviously Ronda Rousey was huge for us down in Brazil, she was well received there," White said to ESPN. "It did very well on pay-per-view here in the United States, and she's obviously a huge superstar for us. Australia is an important market for us, so we're going to bring her out there in our first real big stadium show, and we know she'll break the record."

The current UFC attendance record is held by UFC 129 which took place at Rogers Centre in Toronto and drew 55,724 fans for a card headlined by Georges St-Pierre.

Fox Sports is reporting that the original main event for UFC 193, a title fight between welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit has been postponed due to a thumb injury suffered by the champ.
