LeBron James is bringing his talents back to South Beach. No, he is not going back to the Miami Heat.

On Wednesday, James and Nike re-released one of the most popular sneakers from his signature line, the LeBron 8 ‘South Beach.'

Inspired by the Miami Marlins' jersey colours at the time — which the Heat have since adopted with their City Edition ‘Vice’ jersey — as well as the popular 80s show Miami Vice, the colourway was released to mark LeBron leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers to sign with the Heat.

The sneaker was designed by long-time LeBron shoe designer Jason Petrie.  It has become one of the most popular releases from his signature line, being re-used on later models of LeBron's sneakers.

The Nike LeBron 8 'South Beach' retails for US$200. It is also currently available on the resale platform StockX from US$798 to US$2500.
