CRANBROOK, B.C. - Wyatt Hoflin made 46 saves and Sam Reinhart had two goals in the third period as the Kootenay Ice beat the Edmonton Oil Kings 4-1 on Friday night in Western Hockey League action.

Reinhart's two goals came in a three-goal third period for the Ice (30-27-2). Levi Cable and Luke Philp also scored, as Kootenay converted on both its power plays.

Luke Bertolucci had the lone goal for Edmonton (26-27-6), which failed to score on its only power play.

Tristan Jarry made 23 saves in 57:30 for the Oil Kings.

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. — Jordan Thomson broke a tie in the third period as the Broncos doubled up Red Deer.

Coda Gordon had a goal and two assists for Swift Current (28-25-5) with Colby Cave also chipping in. Glenn Gawdin added an empty-net goal.

Wyatt Johnson started the game with a power-play goal 36 seconds into the first for the Rebels (31-18-9). Meyer Nell also scored in the period.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Austin Glover had two goals and an assist as the Raiders handed Brandon its first regulation loss in 17 games.

Reid Gardiner, Matteo Gennaro, Craig Leverton and Glover helped Prince Albert (24-32-3) jump out to a four-goal lead. Simon Stransky scored the winner 1:10 into the third with Glover adding his second of the game into an empty net.

Jayce Hawryluk had a hat trick in the second period for the Wheat Kings (43-10-6) and Tim McGauley also scored.

REGINA — Braden Christoffer had the first of three goals in the second period as the Pats downed Saskatoon.

Carter Hansen and Jesse Gabrielle also scored in the second for Regina (31-19-7), which lost its fourth straight. Adam Brooks rounded out the attack.

Ryan Graham replied for the Blades (17-38-3) in the third period with a short-handed goal.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Keegan Iverson was one of three Winterhawks to score in the third period as they beat Vancouver.

Skyler McKenzie and Layne Viveiros also chipped in with goals in the third for Portland (34-20-4). Dominic Turgeon and Oliver Bjorkstrand had the others.

Dalton Sward and Jackson Houck scored for the Giants (25-31-3).

SPOKANE, Wash. — Colby Harmsworth had the winner in the third as Calgary scored three in the period to slip past the Chiefs.

Micheal Zipp and Elliott Peterson also had third-period goals for the Hitmen (35-18-5), who won their third straight game. Carsen Twarynski had the other goal.

Blair Oneschuk, Adam Helewka and Kailer Yamamoto supplied the offence for Spokane (27-26-4).

Greg Chase and Austin Carroll supplied the offence for Victoria (32-23-4).

KENT, Wash. — Jerret Smith scored the winner on a power play 58 seconds into overtime as the Thunderbirds topped Lethbridge.

Johnny Wesley, Jamal Watson and Kord Pankewicz had goals for the Hurricanes (18-33-7).

Lethbridge forward Mike Winther was ejected at 16:54 of the third period after receiving a major penalty for spearing.
