MEDICINE HAT, Alta. — Linus Nassen scored twice, including the game-winner, and added an assist as Medicine Hat Tigers held off the Calgary Hitmen 5-4 in Western Hockey League action Sunday.

Nassen gaves the Tigers (9-7-2) a 5-2 cushion on the power play at 18:01 of the second period. Corson Hopwo, Josh Williams and Hayden Ostir also scored for the Tigers.

Cael Zimmerman and Kaden Elder notched the Hitmen's first two goals, before Luke Coleman struck and Elder added another to narrow the deficit to one.

But Calgary couldn't get any closer as Jordan Hollett kicked out 36 shots for Medicine Hat. Jack McNaughton turned away 23 shots for Calgary (5-11-2).

The Tigers went 2-for-4 on the power play, while the Hitmen were scoreless on one opportunity with the man advantage.
