Toronto Argonauts head coach Marc Trestman said the team is reasonably confident James Wilder will be ready to play Friday against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, TSN 1290's Darrin Bauming reported.

Wilder, who suffered a leg injury in practice Wednesday, is listed as the starter at running back on the team's depth chart for the game.

Fellow running back Dexter McCluster, whom the Argos signed earlier this month, was also injured in practice Wednesday and is now listed on the six-game injured list, according to TSN Football Insider Dave Naylor.

Through five games this season, Wilder has 51 carries for 220 yards and two touchdowns, and another 229 yards receiving.

Martese Jackson is listed as the backup at running back while Brandon Burks is third on the depth chart.
