A day before Kobe Bryant played the last game of his 20-year NBA career, 2K Sports announced their way of saying goodbye to a legend.

The game developer revealed a special cover for the Legend Edition of NBA 2K17 that will feature Bryant.

And just to make sure 2K wasn't making a mistake, Bryant went out and put up 60 points in his final appearance, shooting 22/50 to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-96 over the Utah Jazz.

Bryant retires as the only player in NBA history to spend two decades with one club.

The game will be released in September.
