Counter Logic Gaming swept Enigma 6 to win the Halo Championship Series Summer Finals and solidify their position as the best team in the world.
The defending world champions had no equal throughout the weekend and squared off in the Grand Finals against the only club to win a series against them this season.
E6 made their unlikely trip to the championship series through the loser’s bracket, where they staved off elimination twice in series victories over Clou9 (4-2) and Team EnVyUs (4-2).
CLG advanced to the finals by knocking EnVyUs into the lower bracket finals with a 4-0 series sweep.
In the pro vs. amateur portion of the event, both Team Liquid and OpTic Gaming retained their spot in the HCS.
