Leon Draisaitl and Darnell Nurse have made the Edmonton Oilers, at least for now.

The two highly-touted prospects will break camp with the Oilers and are likely to play in at least nine games. At that point Edmonton must decide whether to send them down to their respective junior teams or keep them, at which point their rookie contracts would kick in.

Draisaitl was drafted third-overall in this year's entry draft while Nurse was selected seventh-overall a year ago.

In other Oilers roster news, Brad Hunt also made the final roster in a surprise move ahead of Martin Marincin.

Marincin, along with Jujhar Khaira, and Bogdan Yakimov were assigned to the team's AHL affiliate in Oklahoma City while Keith Aulie, Anton Lander, Steve Pinizzotto, and Tyler Pitlick were placed on waivers. Kevin Westgarth was released from his professional tryout.
