Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is expected to be out at least a week after aggravating the lower-body injury that caused him to miss nine games earlier in the season.

Price appeared to injure his leg when trying to move across the crease in the second period of the Canadiens 5-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Wednesday.

Price finished the period and was then replaced by Mike Condon for the third period. The 28-year-old was in his third game since returning from the original injury.

Condon made all nine starts during Price's absence and posted a 5-2-2 record.

The Canadiens have recalled goaltender Dustin Tokarski and forward Christian Thomas from the St. John's IceCaps.
