Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar left Saturday’s game after suffering an right sternoclavicular joint injury while diving to make a catch in the third inning.

Pillar is undergoing imaging and further evaluation.

Dwight Smith Jr. entered the game in Pillar’s place in the bottom of the fourth and took over in right field, with Randal Grichuk, who was already in the game, moving to centre field.

Pillar made a diving catch to rob Brock Holt of a hit and doubled off Tzu-Wei Lin on second base to end the third inning.
