The Toronto Blue Jays have promoted right-handed pitcher Nate Pearson and catcher Riley Adams to Double-A New Hampshire, according to TSN's Scott Mitchell.

Pearson is widely viewed as Toronto's top pitching prospect. The 22-year-old is 3-0 with a 0.86 ERA with 35 strikeouts over six starts and 21 innings pitched with the Dunedin Blue Jays in Single-A ball this season.

The native of Odessa, Florida was selected by Toronto in the first round of the 2017 MLB Draft. 

Adams, 22, has a .295 batting average with three home runs and 12 RBIs over 18 games in Dunedin this season.
