Ahead of the release of his highly-anticipated tenth studio album DONDA, Kanye West has revealed a new music gadget on his website called the Donda Stem Player.

The new music player, in partnership with the UK-based global computer startup company Kano, is made of a “soft silicone blended skin” bearing the shape of a small tan puck and is equipped with a headphone jack and Bluetooth support, according to the stem player website.  The gadget allows users to “customize any song” which includes the means to “control vocals, drums, bass and samples” amongst its other features.

The device is available for preorder now for $200 USD with a vague “Summer 2021” release date, although the website says that it will release with the upcoming album.

DONDA is slated to arrive on August 27 following Kanye’s third public listening event at Soldier Field in Chicago, in which he has re-built his childhood home right on stage.

His manager and vice president of Def Jam Recordings, Bu Thiam, confirmed that Yeezy would “absolutely” and “100%” drop the album after this next listening event.
