The Nashville Predators have acquired forward Ryan Hartman and a 2018 fifth-round pick from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Victor Ejdsell and 2018 first- and fourth-round draft picks.

Hartman has eight goals and 17 assists in 57 games so far this season. The 23-year-old was a first round pick in 2013 and had 19 goals and 12 assists in his first full season last year.

Hartman is in the final year of his entry-level contract, making $863,333 this season, and is scheduled to be a restricted free agent this off-season.

Ejdsell is a 22-year-old playing in Sweden. He has 17 goals and 13 assists in 44 games playing for HV71 Jonkoping in the Swedish Hockey League.
