Report: Lincecum to sign with Angels

Tim Lincecum, who spent the first nine years of his career with the San Francisco Giants, is closing in on a deal with the Los Angeles Angels, according to Yahoo's Jeff Passan.
The two-time Cy Young winner is coming off hip surgery during the offseason but showcased his ability for 20-plus teams early this month to prove his health.
The 31-year-old posted a 4.13 ERA in 15 starts with the Giants last season and has not held an ERA below 4.00 since his 2.74 mark in 2011.
The four-time All-Star owns a career 108-83 record with a 3.61 ERA and a 1.268 WHIP.
The Giants and Chicago White Sox were also reportedly interested in the three-time World Series champion.
