The Washington Nationals have brought back reliever Brandon Kintzler on a two-year deal according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. 

The deal is pending a physical. 

Last year, the Nationals got Kintzler at the trade deadline from the Minnesota Twins. 

In 72 games, the 33-year-old had an ERA of 3.03 to go along with 29 saves.

In eight major league seasons split between the Nationals, Twins and Milwaukee Brewers, Kintzler has an ERA of 3.26 .
