Tyron Woodley may not have an opponent for UFC 192 but he will have a title shot in his next bout, according to a report from Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole.
President Dana White announced on Twitter Friday that former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks was forced to withdrawal from Saturday's event at the Toyota Center in Houston due to "weight cut issues." As a result, Woodley was left without an opponent for the co-main event and subsequently pulled from the card.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto reported that Hendricks was suffering from intestine problems and a kidney stoned and was rushed to the hospital Thursday night.
As per Iole's report, Woodley will fight the winner of the title bout between champion Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit at UFC 195 on January 2, 2016.
