Duron Carter’s one-game suspension for his actions along the Ottawa Redblacks’ sidelines last Thursday night got all the disciplinary headlines, but there was more punishment handed out by the league Wednesday.

The CFL announced six players were fined undisclosed amounts for dangerous hits during last week’s action.

Patrick Lavoie and Mike Moore of the Redblacks, Tommie Campbell and Kamar Jorden of the Calgary Stampeders, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ Brett Maher, and the Toronto Argonauts’ Cameron Walker were all hit in the wallet for plays that ranged from dangerous blocks and tackles to low hits and hits to the head.
