Toronto Maple Leafs

Maple Leafs goalie Jack Campbell will get the start in net against the Washington Capitals after practicing in the home net during the team's morning skate on Thursday, head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed. 

Campbell missed the last two games with an issue that that was not connected to his previous rib injury. 

The 30-year-old American is 27-9-5 on the season with a 2.72 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage with four shutouts this season. 

Veteran defenceman Jake Muzzin is also expected to return to the lineup on Thursday after missing Tuesday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Ottawa Senators

Forward Mathieu Joseph will not be in the lineup on Thursday against the Boston Bruins due to an undisclosed injury, according to head coach D.J. Smith.

Joseph, 25, suffered the injury late in Ottawa's 4-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday, according to Smith.

The 6-foot-1 forward was acquired by the Senators, along with a 2024 fourth-round pick, from the Tampa Bay Lightning for forward Nick Paul.

Joseph has four goals and 12 points in 11 games since joining the Senators and 12 goals and 30 points in 69 games for the season.

The Flames have assigned defenceman Juuso Valimaki to the AHL's Stockton Heat on Thursday.

Valimaki, 23, has two assists in nine games with the Flames this season.

Philadelphia Flyers

The Flyers have assigned forward Tanner Laczynski and goaltender Felix Sandstrom to the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Thursday.

Laczynski, 24, did not record a point in the only game he appeared in with the Flyers.

The 6-foot-1 forward has six goals and 14 points with the Phantoms this season.

Sandstrom, 25, recorded a 4-0 loss to the New York Rangers on April 13 and has a 0-1-1 record with a .924 save percentage and 2.91 goals-against average in his two appearances with the Flyers.
