Nathan Walker is back with the Washington Capitals, less than one month after being waived by the team and claimed by the Edmonton Oilers.

Walker was placed on waivers once again on Tuesday and the Capitals re-claimed the winger on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old appeared in two games with the Oilers after being claimed on Dec. 1. He posted no points and averaged 9:27 of ice time over the two games.

He posted one goal in seven games with the Capitals prior to being waived the first time.

Walker was selected by the Capitals in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft.
