The Montreal Canadiens have signed recently acquired forward Max Domi to a two-year contract worth an average annual value of $3.15 million.

The restricted free agent was acquired from the Arizona Coyotes for forward Alex Galchenyuk on Friday.

After a 52-point rookie season in 2015-16, the 23-year-old has struggled the past two campaigns, scoring just nine goals and 36 assists over 82 games this season.

The winger was selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Coyotes.
