Forward David Perron appears to be heading back to the St. Louis Blues, according to TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie.

Last season, Perron scored 16 goals and added 50 assists with the expansion Vegas Golden Knights. Perron was selected by the NHL’s newest franchise from the Blues, where he was coming off a 46-point season. His career-high in goals came in 2013-14 when he scored 28 with the Edmonton Oilers.

Perron was in his second go-around with the Blues when he was selected by Vegas. He spent his first six seasons there after being selected in the first round (No. 26 overall) of the 2007 draft. He has also spent time with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Anaheim Ducks during his 11-year career.

The 30-year-old was coming off a two-year, $7.5 million deal he signed prior to the 2016-17 season.
