Free agent quarterback Sam Bradford intends to sign a one-year, $20 million deal with the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The official opening of free agency begins on Wednesday.

Schefter adds that $15 million is guaranteed with a one-year option at $20 million.

The 30-year-old appeared in only two games with the Minnesota Vikings this season after suffering an early season knee surgery. However, he was activated for the playoffs, meaning he should be back at 100 per cent.

During his first season with the Vikings in 2016, Bradford threw for 3,877 yards with 20 touchdowns and five interceptions over 15 games.

The ninth year player has thrown for 19,049 yards with 101 touchdowns and 57 interceptions over 80 career games with the St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles and Vikings.

Bradford, drafted by the Rams first overall in 2010 out of Oklahoma, was also reportedly getting interest from the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
