The groups for the League of Legends World Championships are set with three weeks until the competition in San Francisco.
The four groups are topped by champions from four of the five international regions - North America, China, Korea and Taiwan. The European champions, G2 Esports, performed poorly at the Mid Season Invitational and was the odd one out.
The next two positions in each group were a selection between G2, the second place finishers from North America, Europe and Taiwan, and the last two teams from both Korea and China.
Third place teams from the NA LCS and EU LCS, and two international wild cards filled out the bottom of the groups.
