John Klingberg will be scratched for Dallas' game against the Minnesota Wild after he missed a team meeting. Florida Panthers

Forward Nick Bjugstad was activated from the injured reserve and is expected to make his season debut on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Flyers. The 24-year-old broke his hand during the preseason. As a result, the Panthers sent down forward Jared McCann to the AHL. - Florida Panthers release

The Rangers claimed forward Matt Puempel off waivers from the Ottawa Senators. The 23-year-old failed to record a point over 13 games with the Sens this season. Goalie Craig Anderson will start between the pipes for the Ottawa's clash with the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night. Head coach Guy Boucher also hopes to have Bobby Ryan (day-to-day with finger injury) in the lineup while Mike Hoffman (groin) has missed the last two, but is expected to play against the Habs. Forward Josh Leivo has not been cleared to play, according to head coach Mike Babcock. Leivo, 23, suffered a lower-body injury during training camp and has yet to play with the big club this season.
