Battling for the last Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Bruins raised the ire of their Atlantic Division rivals, the Ottawa Senators, on Monday with a tweet advertising postseason tickets.

The Bruins currently occupy eighth position and the East's final Wild Card spot on 89 points with six games to play. The Senators sit three points back, but have a game in hand, while the Florida Panthers sit four points behind the Bruins and have two head-to-head games remaining with the 2011 Stanley Cup champions. TSN Radio 1200 Ottawa's Ian Mendes mused that selling playoff tickets with a postseason berth far from secured might not sit well with the Bruins' rivals.

Not long afterwards, Mendes was proven correct by the Senators' social media team.

Both the Bruins and Senators are back in action on Tuesday night when the Bruins host the Panthers, while the Senators visit the Detroit Red Wings.
