During Game 1 of the Atlanta Hawks’ first-round playoff series against the New York Knicks, Trae Young debuted his first signature sneaker, the adidas Trae Young 1. It was the first official look at the shoe.

Wearing a version of the sneaker in a peach-coloured upper with green accents — Peachtree Street in Atlanta is known as one of the city’s most iconic streets, as the Hawks have referenced before — Young scored 32 points including the game's winner at Madison Square Garden, shushing the crowd in the immediate aftermath.

Release details surrounding the adidas Trae Young 1 have yet to be released, nor have any official press images of the sneaker been made public so far.

With his first signature sneaker, Young joins Damian Lillard, James Harden and Donovan Mitchell as part of adidas’ current roster of NBA players with signature shoes.
