The Toronto Blue Jays said on Tuesday that Josh Donaldson suffered a setback during his rehab and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.

The team said that while taking ground balls in Florida, the third baseman suffered an acute strain of his left calf.

Donaldson, 32, has appeared in 36 of Toronto's 78 games this season. He missed 18 games due to right shoulder inflammation in April and May, and has been out of the lineup since suffering his current calf injury on May 29.

Donaldson is hitting .234/.333/.423 this season with five home runs and 16 RBI.
