HBO has unveiled the trailer of its upcoming HBO Original documentary, Tony Hawk: Until The Wheels Fall Off.

 

Directed by Sam Jones, the film revolves around Tony Hawk, who is known as a legend and pioneer of vertical skateboarding, and his philosophy of maintaining his love for the sport even in his middle age. It also delves into his current work and continuous contributions to the skateboarding industry.

The documentary will feature never-before-seen archival footage and interviews with celebrities and athletes such as Stacy Peralta, Rodney Mullen, Mike McGill and Lance Mountain and more, as they discuss the challenges of continuing the sport as they age. The soundtrack features some of the biggest hits of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, including tracks by The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Echo and The Bunnymen.

While Jones serves as director of the documentary, the film is executive produced by Mark and Jay Duplass and Mel Eslyn.

Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off will premiere on HBO on April 5.
