Dallas Stars forward Alexander Radulov was a scratch for Tuesday's 1-0 win over the New York Rangers for disciplinary reasons.

Head coach Jim Montgomery said Radulov will sit after was late for the team's gameday skate on Tuesday morning.

“Radulov’s going to be out. He was late this morning. That’s all I’m going to talk about it,” Montgomery said, per the Dallas News.

Montgomery added the team will use 11 forwards and dress Jamie Oleksiak as the seventh defenceman against the Rangers. Radulov had skated on the team's top line during the morning skate.

The 32-year-old has 17 goals and 51 points - second most on the Stars - in 54 games this season. He had 27 goals and 72 points in 82 games last season, his first with the Stars.

Dallas (33-27-5) currently sits in the top wild-card spot in the Western Conference, with a two-point lead over the Arizona Coyotes who sit outside the playoff picture.
