Alberto "Crumbz" Rengifo may be done playing League of Legends professionally, having announced retirement Wednesday, but he is not leaving the pro scene altogether.

The former Renegades jungler announced in a YouTube video on Thursday that he would be moving into the head coaching role with North American Challenger Series team Apex Gaming.

"I consider coaching as a way of teaching and I’ve been known for quite some time to be able to perform not only in an analyst capacity but in the capacity of teaching people how to play the game," he said in the video.

Crumbz’ retirement from playing came as a result of Renegades being banned from the NA LCS for different rules violations. The LCS veteran said the new owners were not interested in his services and he had no other offers on the table.

The 23-year-old entered into the professional scene with Team Curse in 2011 and went on to spend three years with Team Dignitas before his move to Renegades.

"I really like the responsibility and how much work I’m going to have to put in," he said. "I’m so grateful for Apex for giving me this opportunity."
