Immortals is the latest major esports organization to move into Overwatch after acquiring the roster of Sodipop.

The organization with teams already in League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gave Blizzard’s hit title a try last month at the ELEAGUE Overwatch Open qualifiers. The team featured players from WEUNITED and ohno and advanced to the Overwatch Open regional at the end of September but opted not to retain any of those players.

"The current Overwatch roster playing under our banner in the ELEAGUE qualifier is the product of an ongoing tryout process," the team said in a statement on Facebook during the ELEAGUE qualifiers in August. "The roster is not yet finalized and will be announced when complete. Stay patient!"

Fast forward to just two weeks before the regional tournament and Immortals has found stability in their roster with the signing of Sodipop.

The lineup features carries Christopher "Grimreality" Schaefer and Brady "Agilities" Girardi, tank David "Nomy" Perez, flex Jeremy "Jer" SantaCruz and supports Athen "Aythen" Zhu and George "Hyped"" Maganzini.

Immortals will go through an intense bootcamps in Santa Monica over the next two weeks to prepare for the ELEAGUE event.
