The DQ comes as a result of a slew of roster changes that saw SK Gaming acquire the entire LG roster. The five members of the LG squad made the jump while SK dropped their entire lineup. The former SK players now go by Team X.

The rules of ELEAGUE stipulate that each team submit and five-an roster with the option of two substitutes no later than May 18. SK Gaming acquired a completely different roster after the deadline while LG doesn’t have five players to field.

The original LG roster finished first in Group A with nine wins in 10 matches. The former SK team was third in Group C and awaiting a matchup with Virtus.pro in the opening round of the Last Chance bracket.

Both Gambit Gaming and Renegades have been added to the Last Chance bracket while Cloud9 looks to have automatically qualified for the playoffs despite losing to then LG in the Group A final.
